Proof of Age for Items Marked “18+”

Why is proof of age required?

All products marked “18+ only” may only be supplied to persons aged 18 or over.

In order to comply with legal requirements and verify your age, we require a copy of your identity card (front and back) once only, when you place your first order. We will only store your date of birth.

Your proof of age is required solely for the one-time verification of your identity and to establish your date of birth and age. Your identity card will not be registered. All customer data is subject to data protection regulations and will not be disclosed to third parties.

How can you send us your proof of age?

You can provide your proof of age in one of the following ways:

  • By email – send us a scan or photograph of the front and back of your identity card. Please always include your name and order number. Send your proof of age to shops@issprotectiontrade.com

  • By fax – send a copy of the front and back of your identity card, preferably enlarged. Please also include your name, address, email address and/or telephone number, as well as your order number, so that we can contact you if the transmission is incomplete or illegible. Please fax your proof of age to +49 2206 9519441

  • By post – send a copy of the front and back of your identity card in a sufficiently stamped envelope to the following address. Please always include your name and order number.

If you have selected a delivery address that differs from your billing address, we will also require proof of age for the recipient at the delivery address.

Please note that the relevant products can only be dispatched once we have received this additional proof of age before shipment.

Without proof of age, we are unfortunately unable to dispatch the ordered products to you without delay.

If we do not receive your proof of age within 7 days of your order, we will consider your order to have been cancelled by you.

Important: Orders containing age-restricted products are shipped exclusively as DHL parcels with DHL IDENT-CHECK. Please have your valid identity document ready when the parcel is delivered.
